MY STORY
I grew up in the Potteries, an area shaped by design and innovation, framed by its industrial heritage and surrounding varied landscapes. It was at this time, within this environment and from these influences, that I developed my love of design.
My work is influenced by moments in time - moments with nature, family, friends and celebrations.
I weave my perceptions of nature, gardens, landscapes and people in these moments and places into my designs.
My love of nature, the wider natural world and its landscapes means I want to engage with companies who share my passion for the environment and ethical standards and who, as brands, reflect the standard and quality of my work.
ABOUT ME
I am an independent, experienced designer with exceptional knowledge of retail product design and creative direction.
I am industrious, good at meeting deadlines, highly collaborative, flexible and great at working to a tight brief.
Working at John Lewis and with their suppliers for 26 years, including designing their market leading Christmas for 15 years, has given me a proven track record of success demonstrating my ability to align commercial vision with design vision and excellence.
The position held, and length of time spent in one of the UK's leading retailers, makes me a unique talent.
Being independent now means I can offer my experience, passion and creativity to support any organisation on all aspects of design and product development.

Creative direction for gifting, seasonal product, visual merchandise and marketing.
Colour and trend forecasting for gifting.
Illustration and design generation for gifting, stationery collections, cards and gift wrap, packaging, textiles and tableware.
I work from initial concepts to final product with design studios, buyers and suppliers.
