THE PROCESS

The etchings are produced using an Intaglio printmaking process in which lines or areas are incised using acid into a metal plate in order to hold the ink. In etching, the plate is made using copper or zinc plate.

With linocuts, the design is produced by cutting away areas of a linoleum block. Ink is then applied and the uncut areas are printed.

Each print is is individually hand printed on 285gsm fabriano print paper.

Colour on some of the prints is hand painted watercolour.

Each print is hand printed to order. Please allow 2 – 3 weeks for delivery.
